This recipe runs in the family, my parents (Italian) had a hand of angels for pasta, especially the homemade one. The pasta carbonara was exquisite and I can proudly say that I learned from the best ^^ It is a true delight that is prepared in 5 minutes.
The original recipe is made with bacon and egg (it does not include cream or cream) and Parmesan cheese, if it is Reggiano better! It is super creamy and with an exceptional flavor. If you are on a diet, run away from this dish, but once in a while it doesn’t hurt! : D

Ingredients for Pasta a la Carbonara True Italian Recipe (serves 4)
1/2 package of bacon
1/2 chopped onion
4 eggs (one per person)
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 cup of Parmesan cheese
1 package of pasta (spaghetti, vermicelli noodles) to your taste
salt and pepper
