Well, we know that everyone has their own way of preparing our delicious Venezuelan dish … everyone has their tricks and their flavor. I here humbly show you how I prepare it. (It must be good because they destroy everything!)
Ingredients for the Creole Pavilion (for 6 people):
- 2 cups of rice
- 1 Kg of meat to loaf
- 1/2 Kg of black beans
- 1 ripe banana
- 1 onion
- 1/2 Paprika
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 1/2 garlic joint
- 2 sweet chili.
Preparation of the Creole Pavilion:
For the meat: I cook it with enough water, a cube of meat broth and a little salt for at least 1 hour, until it almost melts on its own. When this moment arrives, I take it out of the pot, I cook it (we have to reserve the broth). Chop all the dressings (onion, garlic, paprika, sweet pepper, garlic joint) and set aside half for the beans.
Sauté them and then add the meat already shredded, add salt to taste, pepper, and add a glass of the reserved broth. Add cooking food coloring if you like.
For the beans: Soak them the night before with a tablespoon of bicarbonate so that they soften a little, when cooking, pour the water and rinse them well and put them to cook while. Apart we fry the same dressings that we made for the meat; When they are eady we add them to the sauce and cook for 10 minutes. Add a little broth to the meat and wait until the broth dries a bit. So, keep it meaty!
We make the rice (2 cups of rice with 4 and 1/2 cups of water) add salt to taste .. and finally we fry the plantains in slices (how delicious) and with an even richer telita cheese! 🙂
You already know that if you have any suggestions you can write them in the comments 🙂 They will always be well received…. enjoy your meal 😉
