Ingredients for chickpea soup:
- 1/2 Kg of chickpeas
- 1 large onion
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 3 medium potatoes
- 200 grams of spinach
- 1 liter of meat broth
- Salt to taste
Preparation of chickpea soup
Soak the chickpeas the night before and add 1/2 teaspoon of bicarbonate to make them softer and cook faster.
The next day we rinse them and add them to the broth, along with the cut potatoes, onion, garlic and spinach. We will cook them over medium-high heat for approximately 1 hour until soft. Add salt if necessary and serve hot.
