Ingredients for the Beef Stew:
- 700 gr of meat to cook
- 5 medium potatoes
- 1 medium onion
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 1 teaspoon rosemary
- 1 bay leaf
- Olive oil
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 tablespoon of wheat flour.
- 1 cup of beef broth
Preparation of the Meat Stew
To prepare this rich stew, fry the onion and minced garlic for 2 minutes together with the butter and a drizzle of oil, the rosemary and the bay leaf.
Meanwhile we season the meat, pass it through the flour and add it to the pan and cook until golden brown.
Add 2 or 3 cups of water and the meat cube, stir and cover.
While it is cooking, we will peel the potatoes and cut them into squares of about 3 cm (these are not precisely diced haha but you get the idea) and add them to the pan along with the meat and cover.
For the meat to be tender, it must be cooked for at least 2 hours and we must go stirring and checking every so often so that it does not dry out .. We are going to add more water until the meat and potatoes are tender .. and when They are left to cook without a lid so that the water is reduced and the stock is thick.
