These appetizing balls are made nothing more and nothing less than cauliflower. Did you imagine it? They are crunchy and delicious. Perfect for a snack or snack and much healthier than eating a cookie or French fries. Special for those children who are reluctant to eat vegetables, they will not even realize what they are! you just tell them they are nuggets haha!
Ingredients to prepare the cauliflower nuggets
• 1 Cauliflower (the size you want)
• 1 egg
• 1/2 cup of wheat flour
• 1/2 cup of breadcrumbs
• 1/4 cup of grated Parmesan
• Oil to fry them
Preparing the cauliflower nuggets
Its preparation is super simple since we do not have to cook the cauliflower previously or anything. We simply cut the large stem and carefully we are going to detach the flowers, try to have 1 to 2 cm more or less since that way they will be more crisp.
We pass the cauliflower florets through wheat flour (all use or whatever you have), which are well covered on all sides.
After they are well covered, we pass them through a beaten egg to which you will have added a pinch of salt and pepper.
After this we now pass them through the breadcrumbs mixed with the Parmesan cheese. Bread, preferably not the one sold in the supermarket, is better if you take a loaf of bread that is already a bit hard and grate it. (The cheese is optional, I did it without it and they were delicious just the same)

We fry in hot oil and in just a few seconds they will be golden brown. It is time to remove them … do not be afraid that they will be hard because they will not be … even if the cauliflower is practically raw they will be at that point just crunchy and delicious! Trust me, try it and tell me 🙂 I recommend you see the Cereal Bars without an oven that you can make in 5 minutes!
