Ok, the previous post I published how to make the delicious pumpkin cookies! And the glaze that I made is sooo easy and fast, few ingredients, and it’s done by hand in 2 minutes.

Cookie Frosting Ingredients

• 4 oz (110 g) cream cheese, at room temperature
• 4 tablespoons (55g) unsalted butter, at room temperature
• 1 cup (80g) icing sugar
• 1/2 teaspoon of pure vanilla extract
• 1 teaspoon of heavy cream (or whatever you have milk)

Preparing the cookie frosting

This glaze is super rich, it serves to cover not only cookies but also donuts, cupcakes, cakes or whatever you want. If you want it thicker, you simply play with the ingredients, more cheese for example and more icing sugar, if on the contrary you want it lighter you add less cheese and so on.


The super simple preparation, we take a medium bowl and mix all the ingredients by hand with some rods, and that’s it! Is there anything easier than this? of course not 🙂
Take for example this other glaze that I used in the Carrot Cake with just a few variations and with a touch of orange peel zest. Spectacular flavor! You can also make this one for cookies. Click on the photo to see how it is prepared:
