Ingredients for the peperonata:
- 1/2 red paprika
- 1/2 green paprika
- 1 ripe tomato
- 1 medium onion
- 2 cloves of garlic
Preparation of the peperonata:
Sauté the cut onion with the garlic and after 5 minutes add the peppers cut into strips and the tomato.
Add salt to taste, cover and cook over low heat for 5 – 10 more minutes. Stir occasionally.
