Light Chicken Strips with Paprika


This is another version of chicken for those who want to eat healthier without fat and very rich. The flavor that sweet paprika gives it is unique and it takes 10 minutes.

Ingredients for chicken with paprika

  • 4 chicken breast fillets (or a whole breast)
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 of teaspoon of Salt
  • 2 tablespoons of Sweet paprika powder (paprika)
  • 1/2 teaspoon of Garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon thyme (optional)
  • Wax paper

Preparation of chicken with paprika

If you didn’t buy the steaks, cut the breast in 2 then in half to make 4 servings.
Now place waxed paper on the cutting board and spread all the seasonings there, put the breast fillets on top and with your hands spread it well on both sides.
Fold the waxed paper over the breasts and gently pat it with a rolling pin so that all the seasonings stick well to the chicken.

Heat the pan well and add 1/2 teaspoon of oil so that it does not stick. If you have a good Teflon pan, you won’t need it. Brown the chicken well on both sides, I usually cover it for 5 minutes and then brown it without a lid so it cooks well on the inside and is crispy on the outside.
