Spinach Burgers


Here is the recipe for some burgers with spinach, which are a different way of making them and very tasty. Very effective for those children who run when they see vegetables, because they won’t even notice 🙂

Ingredients for the Spinach Burgers (Makes 4 servings):

  • 1/2 kg of ground beef
  • 1 package of spinach of 250 gr
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon ketchup sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of grated Parmesan cheese.


Preparation of the Burgers with Spinach:

Sauté the garlic in the oil for a few seconds over low heat making sure they do not burn, add the spinach (don’t worry if you see a lot of it, they will be reduced in the end), sauté for approximately 2 minutes and remove from the heat to cool.

On the other hand, add salt, pepper, a tablespoon of Parmesan cheese, ketchup sauce, and spinach to the meat. Note: before adding the spinach, squeeze them well with your hands to remove the excess water from cooking and avoid the burgers from getting runny)

We make them the shape and the pan over medium heat. (no need to add oil, a good Teflon skillet is enough as the meat will cook in its own juice)

We cook for about 3 minutes on each side, of course, it depends on the taste of each one and at what term they want it. I prefer 3/4 so that they are juicy inside.

Very good if you are on a diet accompanied by a salad or some sauteed vegetables.
