Light chicken with herbs

Super easy to make, light, low in fat and juicy on the inside and toasty on the outside.

Ingredients for Light Chicken with herbs:

  • 1 Chicken cut up without skin (or breasts) as you prefer
  • 1/2 teaspoon rosemary
  • 1 teaspoon thyme
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • Salt and pepper.

 

Preparation of light Chicken with herbs:

The first thing: We remove all the skin and visible fat from the chicken and we chop it and add it to a large pan along with all the             other ingredients, stir and cover. It is not necessary to add more than a single teaspoon of olive oil, since it will cook with its same           juices.

You always have to cover it for 15 minutes so that with the steam it releases the chicken’s own juices and cooks well inside but                  without being dry. Stir occasionally to avoid sticking.

When 15 minutes have passed, it should be cooked inside. Now uncover so that it browns on the outside and remains with the                 taste  of all the herbs.

Accompany it with a salad and / or vegetables if you are on a diet, and if not with rice, potatoes with whatever you prefer!
